MINI APPLE PIE BITES / MINI APFEL STÜCKCHEN

Seriously, these are heavenly. Not gonna lie. They taste exactly like apple pie but the compact size is perfect for either on-the-go or if you are watching your portions. Also, they are great if you have little ones.
Can it really get any better than sweet apples and cinnamon wrapped in a sugary, buttery crust? I think not. Oh and did I mention how easy they are to make too.

MINI APPLE PIE BITES

What you’ll need:
1 can of crescent rolls
2 small apples, peeled and finely chopped
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp butter, melted

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  • In a medium bowl mix apples, cinnamon, flour, 1/2 tsp of the sugar and 1/2 tbsp of the butter.
  • Lightly coat a baking pan with cooking spray. Open the crescent can and roll out the dough pieces. Lay each individual crescent piece down on the pan and stretch them a bit.
  • Place a spoonful of the mixture in each piece, roll up and secure the ends by taking the corner of the dough and wrapping it towards the center.
  • Brush the remaining butter on top and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for about 11-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let sit for 1-2 minutes and serve with Cream or vanilla ice cream or both ;-)

Was Ihr braucht:
1 Dose Hörnchenteig
2 kleine Äpfel, geschält und fein gehackt
1 TL Zimt
1 EL Mehl
1 TL Zucker
